RIMFROST KRILL POWDER MAY BE EFFECTIVE IN IMPROVING VASCULAR HEALTH

RIMFROST in collaboration with partners in New Zealand has developed and patented a krill powder for human nutraceutical applications. In a long term collaboration with the University in Bergen, with the financial support from the Norwegian Research Council, krill products have been tested in animal models and in humans and the results have been published in international scientific journals. The most recent data shows that krill powder is effective in reducing atherosclerosis in apo E-/- mice, suggesting that it also may be effective in improving vascular health in humans.
